New Year Deer, Nationals

Happy New Year people.

Just to recap, last year was pretty fun. This year is going well so far, with new work and inspiration pouring out of my ears. Yes, there is a pun there. I traveled to Short Course Nationals in Seattle, had a great time, learned a lot and saw some friends. 56/76 swimmers in my event is a starting point for me. I didn't get the time I wanted, but the value of going was immeasurable. What I got was experience. It gave me new inspiration in the water, especially after watching some of the best swimmers in the world compete.


Just a heads up, I will be having a Solo Show at IndyInk in June. The deer at top is a preview of the piece I am currently knocking out for that show. I'm trying to keep it under wraps, as well as the rest of my work for it. I find that I listen a little to well to others' opinions, and want this show to be completely shaped from my mind and interests. It will be a glimpse into where I am going as an artist and person. Whoa. Deep. No pun intended.
